Microfabrication Process Engineer - Subtractive Machining (#3809)

The Microfabrication Process Engineer will develop, optimize, characterize, and implement subtractive laser drilling processes and equipment for a variety of applications, but in particular probe card fabrication for semiconductor test systems. A critical responsibility will be tool optimization beyond the manufactured specification and pushing to the performance limits of the laser process technology. Doing so will require developing expertise in laser micromachining systems and application of fundamental microfabrication unit process development and operational skills. The successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of laser processing (direct experience a definite plus) and hands-on experience in semiconductor/MEMs unit process development, control and risk management best practices.

Microfabrication Process Engineer (#3796)

Our customers span start-up to Fortune 50 companies serving the medical, semiconductor test and measurement and industrial sensor markets. Our business and opportunity space is growing rapidly and we are seeking qualified, high energy candidates to join our team.

MicroConnex has an immediate opening for an experienced microfabrication engineer to provide process development and integration support for our photolithography related modules. This high impact position reports to the process engineering manager and responsibilities broadly include meeting equipment availability, throughput, quality, and cost targets for the photolithography modules. As a key member of the engineering team and working closely with counterparts on the operations team, the primary objective of a process engineer is to institutionalize the key skills and microfabrication knowledge base by generating tangible work products including process window experiments, process control plans, validation reports, SOPs, training plans, and other process characterization and control information.

The microfabrication process engineer is a key resource on the MicroConnex engineering team and is responsible for unit process development and manufacturing support. This position will initially focus on the photoresist application, photoresist exposure, and photoresist development process modules.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a desire to improve self and surroundings, and will possess experience from mid-career level to experienced professional. Total compensation will be competitive and depends on experience.

Microfabrication Facilities Engineer

MicroConnex is an engineering solutions provider and specialty contract manufacturer of high density, flexible interconnect devices, and space transformers. Our customers span start-up to Fortune 50 companies serving the medical, semiconductor test and measurement, and industrial sensor markets. As a Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Company, our addressable markets are growing rapidly, and MicroConnex is seeking qualified, high energy candidates to join our team.

MicroConnex has an immediate opening for an experienced facilities engineer to lead the design, layout, operation, and capital project management for the facility and facility-related equipment that supports each unit process in the factory. The facilities engineer will ensure that mission-critical infrastructure systems, including cleanroom controls (temperature, humidity, and particulates), water supply systems (DI and city water), gas supply systems, and compressed air supply systems meet performance requirements defined by the process engineering team. As-built drawings of all facility-related piping, electrical, HVAC, and air emissions systems will be owned and managed by the facilities engineer. The facilities position will report to the process engineering manager and will act as a team leader for two experienced facilities technicians and be responsible for on-site management of third-party contractors and vendors as needed.
